Something fun ..

I have found some awesome internet fluff..
EvelynHero
Did this one of me (Yes I am odd)

If you wish, go Here to make your own.
You can make some drafts of some outfits you might like at some point too.
I was scared to find that everything in the pic above I actually have in real life down the the large wings(gatta love knowing FX makeup & how to make things with latex, told you I was odd).

I would love to see what you guys come up with..Post what you make as a comment to this post if you feel like it.

,Waring: if your doing papers this will be more fun an thus you will do this and not the papers.:

You know, I did initially think this was a picture someone had drawn of you - that red/black skirt and jacket is so emblematic of you in my mind that it didn't occur to me that it might have been electronically generated.

Anyway, here's mine:

Go on, you know you want to.

Haha. I actually made two steampunk characters using this program a few months ago.

I've got to ask, how are you guys getting it to copy & save?

screencap, in my case. for me, it was a simple "hit the printscreen button when the picture's all done," and then paste it into a new image in my image manip program (gimp, in my case, although i bet it's photoshop or some such for most people), then crop. sounds complicated, but isn't.

i think if you hit the "help" button in heromachine (i think it's a word bubble or a question mark), it'll guide you through it pretty clearly, too.

Well, sigh. I'm still fairly computer illiterate and I can't figure out this infernal machine. The printscreen button appears to do nothing, maybe because I don't have photoshop. The usual screencap-menu won't come up for me either. I can create them, but have to print them out, scan 'em, and put 'em in photobucket, and I can't really afford to waste the ink on more than the superhero ones I tried first.

Lovely steampunk 'paper dolls' though. Thanks anyway.

if you have mspaint, it may work. when you hit "printscreen" it won't appear that anything has happened (i.e. you won't see anything change), but you've essentially copied a screencap. you then have to paste that somewhere--like in an image manip program. whatever you use to view/mess-with images. then you can crop it and save it. hope that helps a little more!

evil...EVIL!
Just coming out of lurk mode to say oh, this is a wicked, bad site... so many options and ideas running out of my head, through my fingers and coming to life on the screen -- the perfect place to find out that Hakama and a Victorian jacket look really great together...thanks for endless hours of future fun...

did you try pressing the button on your keyboard that says 'prt sc' (or something similiar that looks like print screen abbreviated, schould be on the top row)? once you do that you need to open some type of photo editor or paint shop and just past the image on a blank canvas. You'll get the whole screen so you'll then have to crop it. then save as a jpg upload to a photo hosting site and then well share it here :).
I hope that helps a bit!

I have a really ancient iMac, and I use iPhoto 5 when I need to do any editing. I still don't know how to use half of the buttons on the keyboard. For some reason, the Herobuilder thing slooooooowed my mac down really badly, and at several places I was afraid that I had broken something! The whole cut and paste thing took me over a half an hour, and I still couldn't get it right.

I HATE things that make me feel stupid.
