Some of you may have heard, I had a piece stolen from me at Dragon Con. Not just some ordinary piece but a one of a kind Monicle that was to be in  featured in a Steampunk Exhibit at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford this October.

I'm will pay $200.00 for it's safe return on a "no questions asked" basis.
I will pay $500.00 if it leads to the arrest of the one who stole it.

Remember, it is a one of a kind piece. There will never be another. If you see someone wearing it they are definately connected to the theft and a felony.

I will also produce a custom piece for anyone who gets the theif arrested. Have you been looking at one of those arms thinking $1499.00 is beyond your reach? You Get me this person and I'll make one just for you.

I swear I saw somebody wearing these at Con. I'm going to look through my pictures later. When were they stolen to give me a time to start thumbing through the 500 picks I have?

Ugh, how awful. I hope you catch the person that stole this! It's a lovely piece and I hope you get to display it!

ETA: I've posted the link to this post on my Twitter and Facebook in hopes that some of my D*C attending friends will recognize it. Hope you don't mind.

That sucks and I hope that you find who ever stole this and that they are dealt with by the authorities or a steam powered bat! I love the things that you produce and the passion you put into your art, if I notice anything you will be the very first to know.

Times like this I weep for humanity. I am so sorry you were robbed. The piece is truly beautiful. I hope you get it back and the thief truly punished.

That really sucks. I hope the thief is caught and you get your lovely piece back. Maybe you could post this to some of the photosharing websites for D*C to see if someone recognizes it?

People never cease to amaze me.

Take these two photos and add your phone contact info, something you can be quickly reached at, and put it all on one sheet that can be emailed for people to print. Then contact the heads of security at upcoming cons where steampunk is likely to feature. Make sure their security staff has reviewed copies of these and has a sheet available at their main desk in case they think they notice it there.

Hopefully something will come of it.

This is a fantastic idea, and I heartily second it.

Hope you get it back safely.

I Xposted this to steam_armory to get the word out.

My suspicion that the culprit isn't a steamer. Anyone in the community would probably have more respect. Probably was just some yahoo that thought it was cool looking.

Though I could be wrong. Bad seeds come in every bushel of apples.

Gah! Hope the person is caught.

Have you posted this over on Brassgoggles?
