One Week Until the New York Steamy Picnic!

This is the one week reminder for the Muscoot Farm Steamy Picnic!

Join us September 13th at 1:00 in the afternoon at Muscoot Farm, in Somers, New York.

Muscoot Farm was originally a "Gentleman's Farm" owned by the Hopkins Family and used as their summer estate and dairy farm from 1880 to 1924. In 1924 the family moved to the farm year-round and continued the dairy business until 1967 when Westchester County acquired the property.

Directions can be found here: http://www.muscootfarm.org/directions.htm

The farm has a number of activities that day including a farmer's market and a meeting of the Westchester Artists Networking Group in Main House (A group of local artists who create illustrations, drawings and paintings for a variety of children's books will display their work in the Main House Art Gallery.)

We'll meet at 1:00pm and enjoy a potluck picnic in the shade trees until the park closes at 4pm. While there are some picnic tables, bringing chairs would be wise.

Drop a line here if you can make it or need travel help, the site is relatively close to Croton's Metro North Train Station. A quick note about what you are planning on bringing would be nice as well.
