Community Tips: We are a friendly association, and would like for this to remain so. Please be kind to your fellow visitors. Hold them in the regard you yourself would like to be held. Constructive criticism is always welcome, cruelty and mean spirited comments will not be tolerated at all.
We adore seeing most of all: New steampunk outfits, gorgeous clothes bought or handmade , modified props, lovely home wares. We also don't mind interesting art, fine film and literature, and news items of note as long as fashion has something to do with it. Steam themed events are also beloved, providing you note what country and state the event is in. The sun never sets on Steamfashion, after all.

Now on to eye candy so you who have seen this all at one point have something new to look at.

More Yarn, More Troubles

I'm sure we have some hook and needle types here! I've compiled a list of possibly steamy (and entirely fun) knitting and crocheting patterns, mainly because I finally got my Ravelry invite and the pattern search is great.

Lobster, which if you knit it in red, is totally steamy! (bonus points for using the tags to find the post I'm referring to)

Soot sprites from Spirited Away

Hooded waist-length cloak, made of rectangles and easy to put together

Mock corset dog sweater, for your canine mad science assistant

Lace wedding garter

ruffley wristwarmers

Ribbed ruffly lace neck warmer/collar

And if you're on Ravelry, there's a lot of beautiful lace patterns to stick anywhere. I'm having a huge lace binge. My username there is FeedMeACat.
Ladies and gentleman I come before you to day with a fascinating discovery I am sure you will not be able to live without. Now I am sure many of you know how hard it is to find reliable help weather it be deck hands for your airship, lab assistance or just general minions. May I present the answer to your prayers Professor Petunia's lobsters for all occasions.

As you can see The lobster is a handsome companion that would not look out of place even at the most formal occasions.
