It might be true, but it's irrelevant to the subject, and in quite astonishingly bad taste.

And hey, we invented the concentration camp, too. The British Empire was rather unpleasant.
It's a bit rather like:
"A picture of an Asian-looking guy!
Let's see what comes to mind first that has nothing to do with it! 8D"
For pity's sake it's steam punk, abuses of human rights are built into the very essence of the industrial revolution, something definitely pioneered in all its dirty slum-housing glory by Great Britain :P

...which in the context of the picture would actually be quite funny if still offensive :P
*sigh* look could people stop highhlighting my fairly weak attempt at some tongue in cheak dark humour, the fact is this picture is simply awesome.
It's a wonderful retro nod towards the roots of japanese mecha and the extraordinary advances in the robotics industry they have provided for the world.
it just looks so real, that's the best part :)
