Corset making tutorial

The Fearless Fabricator has begun a corset-making tutorial, and the first installment, making a custom-shaped, perfectly fitted pre-pattern, is up on the Steampunk Family website:  http://www.steampunkfamily.com/2009/09/the-construction-of-corsets/

Please comment on the Steampunk Family site if you have questions about it, sage advice, or engaging conversation.

How amusing! That is nearly the same method I use to pattern 14th century cotehardies...

Looks like how we learned how to make corsets and bodices for Renn Faire costuming. :)

Very cute pics too for the descriptors. :) Very informative and useful tutorial.

Will check out the website more, as it looks like you have a lot of interesting stuff up there. :)
