Blooming Teas

I love drinking tea, which eclipse my love for a strong cup of coffee. One of my fav is called blooming tea. It really brighten you day when it's been a bit gloomy. I hoard mine like some ppl hoard shoes.

Blooming teas comes in many shapes and flavors. The aroma and taste doesn't disappoint. It brings natural elegance to a function. But, because, I can't show you the tea I'm having right now. I bring you a video of a blooming tea in action.

These are fabulous!

I even bought some for my step-mother for her birthday earlier this year.

Totally recommend.

wow, that is totally cool. And to see it unfold has a kinda hypnotic effect!
The downside is that it's rather expensive, isn't it?

And I wonder if you can get this in europe as well...

Depends- poking on the net I saw prices from $2-$5 per tea ball. They seem to be cheaper if you but them by the 10/12 (may even be some less than $2/pot of tea), and there seem to be a few places like this

where you can get singles. It's pricey, but something you can try out for not SO much money.

Oh, that is gorgeous. And it reminds me of a strange alien water plant, which is singularly a good thing.

Also known as 'Display Tea' for those of you looking for alternatives to google. You can also buy a few selections through www.peets.com (the Green Peony is very lush).

They do look cool, but I keep wondering how they are produced and what are the chances of getting a bug in there too?

love them but
I love these teas but every single little glass teapot that I got with them has shattered as soon as I added the hot water. Now, I do them in my drip coffe maker. Not so pretty but less danger of hot water everywhere.
